Revenant - Discografia

 
Revenant foi formada no norte de New Jersey (EUA), na primavera de 1986 pelo baixista John Pratscher e vocalista/guitarrista Hank Veggian. John Henry e lido muito na literatura gótica e fantástica, assim como os campos gerais tais como a história e filosofia. O nome "Revenant" teve sua inspiração principalmente das obras de Friedrich Nietzsche, o mais importante dos escritores  sobre o "eterno retorno", mas também sobre poesia e música.
Estes tópicos conceituais manteve-se constante ao longo do desenvolvimento dos próximos nove anos da banda que sofreu várias encarnações.
