Emperor - Discografia

Emperor foi formado no começo dos anos 90 por dois membros de uma banda chamada Thou Shalt Suffer: Ihsahn, vocalista da banda inicial, assumiu a guitarra e teclados e Samoth, guitarrista no Thou Shalt Suffer, assumiu a bateria no Emperor. Chamaram o baixista Mortiis e em 1992 gravaram sua demo "Wrath Of The Tyrant". A banda começava a levar o Black Metal a novos territórios, usando teclados e criando novas atmosferas. Logo após a demo, Emperor gravou um mini-álbum chamado apenas "Emperor", agora fazendo uso de duas guitarras. Samoth saiu da bateria e assumiu o papel de segundo guitarrista e Bard G. Eithun - Bard Faust - assumiu como novo baterista. O mini-álbum tem 4 músicas, sendo 2 regravações de músicas da demo (com uma produção muito melhor).
