Sepultura - Discografia

O Sepultura é uma banda brasileira de metal surgida em 1985, criada pelos irmãos Max Cavalera e Iggor Cavalera em Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. É considerada a banda de metal brasileira de maior repercussão no mundo, à frente de outras como Angra e Krisiun. O Sepultura possui influências diversificadas como quase nenhuma outra banda da cena, que vai desde o black e death metal, passando pelo thrash metal, até inspirações externas ao metal, como hardcore, música tribal africana e japonesa, música indígena, entre outros diversos estilos musicais.O nome Sepultura (em inglês, grave) foi escolhido quando Max Cavalera traduzia uma música do Motörhead chamada “Dancing on Your Grave”. Originalmente tinha a formação de Paulo Jr. (baixista), Iggor Cavalera (baterista), Jairo Guedez (guitarrista) e Max Cavalera (vocalista).Depois de um tempo entra na banda Andreas Kisser. Hoje tem uma enorme legião de fãs. Na sua formação atual tem o americano Derrick Green como vocalista e os brasileiros Andreas Kisser como guitarrista, o baixista Paulo Jr. e o baterista Jean Dolabella. O Sepultura é considerado por muitos fãs a banda que mais contribuiu com o thrash metal brasileiro, porém, após a saída dos integrantes Max Cavalera e Iggor Cavalera, a banda enfrenta um período de total desaprovação entre os fãs.
